41 FPS ANY GOOD?

- 3D BLASTER TI 4600.

LOGITECH MOMO FORCE WHEEL.

Buy P4 3.0, ASUS/ABIT/EPOX motherboard and it can't be cheaper than 200 Euros, 4 gigs of DDR, 300 gigs of HDD, Radeon9800 PRO, 18" LCD.. and you should have around 50 fps.



Reduce some details. Also your motherboard isn't top of the line either [buy Asus, Abit, Epox, those MB's are the best.. well.. depens on product] and so is your graphic card. 4600 is waste of money, 4200 is nice, but for that amount of money u gave it for 4600 u would get much faster graphix from ATI .. 9500 PRO is faster than 4600 and it's cheaper. Than, u don't have to use 1600x1200.. 1280x1024 is enough..

any ideas on which graphics card is top fx5900 256mb or 9600 256mb, i no my 4600 isnt all that but it was ok when i got it, but now im looking for a new one, two choices, any advise

no seriously i havnt used any patchs or stuff is there any thing out there i could use to add fps, thats right fps

you dont get 41 frames per month trust me frame speed (for gp4 anyway) is measured in seconds, and your rig sounds like 41fps would be about right. Don't go looking for anymore...most of us struggle to get 30 fps on almost similar machines, be glad!
