GP4Master not recognising gp4.exe

I have decrypted NOCD version of gp4.exe running gpx patch 3.34 and GP4 master is unable to read it...
It says it is the wrong size
OH it is also the official update patch as well
What do I do??????????
IS because of the official patch.......?

Gp4 master only recognises the "unpatched" GP4.exe.. Do the following:
Copy fron your CD the original GP4.exe to a temporary file. Rename this to:
"gp4_old.exe"
Copy the renmed file to your GP¤ folder.
When you open GP4master configure it by pointing it at the "GP4_old.exe" file. GP4 will then recognise this and you may edit. If you know how to use GP4, great. If not, use the search button on this forum. "He who seeks, will find".

Do the following:

Go to tet.grandprix-x.com and download TeT`s GP4UtilPatcher.

With that tool you can patch nearly all editors so that they use gp4 v1.2 decrypted games.

You cant make changes to gp4.exe but you can open wads and grafic files.

GP4UtilPatch can be used with gp4master and jon csc4beta4b for example.

This is the first we've chatted. I thought I might've gotton pg4 master to work, then I got this error message;

hmm, i know how to fix it.

ok, prey ure in win xp here

right click the gp4 root folder, and untick read only, then tick "apply this to all files and sub folders" and also make sure gp4 is closed when you use gp4master
