Can someone pls help out.

Without mirrors ON I get a very substantial FPS boost..... from 30 fps upto 36 fps.

But I would like to have a very limited mirror view of any cars coming up close on me so I can take evasive action and not cut them off.

I see that there a number of crucial lines in the MIRROR VIEW section of the graphics.cfg file that have a significant affect on mirrors but I have fiddled with them and cannot seem to get the right combination of settings that doesn't Drain all the frames out of my system.

Can someone with knowledge on this offer a solution ?

I am sure many people would benefit from some delving into this matter.

Thx AveryGP will try that....

Another thing is I drive from T-Cam view mostly and there is a very annoying black area in the mirrors of every car from that view.

It looks like it must be the shadow of the rear wing ?

I know it may be unrealistic but is there a way of turning that shadow off completely so to get a clear mirror view such as in the cockpit ?

I tried playing around with the angles of the mirrors which were set at 2, I tried various settings from -8 to +8 but it had no effect whatsoever on that shadow ( or whatever it is !)

Perhaps there is a texture file that needs to be modified ?

I have no idea really.... just guessing but I know one of you car mod guys would have an answer.... or maybe it just has to be there !?
