[ONBOARD_CAMERA_CAR19]
Cockpit = 0.0000, 0.1333, -0.4571, 0.00, -0.70, 0.00

I usually just remove those suspension bits from lod0.

Oh! It looks so strange! I have never seen this. So I guess it is a matter of cockpit shape... PM ;-)
Edit: If this is a current problem for you, why don't you move up your car_cockpit a little bit? ;-)

@ Lez; thank you, my friend :-)

Thanks Arnaud. Yes it depends on the cockpit shape.

I prefer not to move the cockpit shape up because it obscures the driver view. Some suggestions in my PM reply (E)

Using the same cockpit shape I have the same issue with some cars.
I do not remove anything. I just detach the top polygons of the front suspension then attach them at the cockpit object.

Yeh that's a good way to do it as well, because the cockpit object is not shown.

@TomMK: Ok, I hope you will fix your problem with that (PM) ;-)
Edit: Could you post the complete tweaker settings for the CT03, please? Your informations are always complete and welcome! Thank you by advance :-)

@Bernard: Ok but if you are playing in T-Cam view with the suspensions parts modified, it uses also the lod_0, isn't it?

Yes but if you don't remove any polygone, you should not see any difference in T-cam view....

I have the same problema of TomMK with the copy. Is very very ugly.

I don't use Tweaker.

The solution? But the file of car....gp4 is blocked and I think the problem is here.

Fix for the very good car will be excelent...

But... Now is the time the problem is the other and de blocked files...

Gratefully.

As mentioned above with Gezere and TomMk, the problem is not the car but the position of the cockpit object (car_cockpit_00.gp4 file). There are several cockpit shapes available for GP4. So, in T-cam or other views in game, there is no problem, whatever the cockpit shape your are using into your wad but in cockpit view, the top of the suspensions may appear.

There are 2 ways to fix the problem:
- To move the cockpit object on the Y axis if the problem occures with all your cars.
Or
- To cut the suspensions parts and to attach them on the lod_0 of the car.

Ask TomMK, he probably fixed the problem with the files I sent to him.

Regards.

To knacki012 I already told you not to use Tweaker.

To Excalibur: A lod file is locked by you.

Question:

Is not it occurred to you to make an arrangement that lod to solve something so ugly to see and what happens to several people?

Best regards.

I think you should take care at your comments dear SpeedDriver....

The fact that the shape is locked is not the root of the matter. The shape is not also the root of the matter.
The matter is the old cockpit shape used which is not compatible with the current cars.

It exists some way to fix it. Excalibur sent at TomMK an unlocked shape and I am sure he will fix it for you.

PLease be a bit patient and show more respect with the few modders who still stay here...

Yep I've got an unlocked copy of the lods, give me some more time and I'll get this fixed.

@Excalibur - the car1 lod0 shape you sent me is much larger than the car2 lod0 - is that right? Normally they are about the same file size?
