Yeah i have it and all i can say is the same as most people: WOW

After playing around with the gfx, i finally got something near playable and had to keep altering for at least an hour before it worked perfectly.

I wont say first impressions e.t.c. just read other ppls.

It is amazing, the tracks look so realistic and lifelike. But some things are a bit annoying:

1. The Melbourne track seems pretty crap, especailly compared to others

2. The tarmac texture is also pretty crap compared to others

3. The writing on the pit monitor is annoying when you are watching other cars qualify

Also a tip: Turn off relflections and change the greographical map to "static" or "off". Makes the game look alot better and more lifelike. Oh and it runs alot smoother too

With your PC Chris you shouldn't have any trouble running it with quite high graphics settings, surely?

I'm guessing RAM is what's going to make or break the game, closely followed by the graphics card.

is 128 mb of RAM sufficient enough for the game to fun smoothly

i preferrably play GP3 with medium graphical settings. i find that if the graphics are too sweet then that'll sway my attention from driving!!

LS: no, it seems to be the stuff that reflects all over the car

Alex: Yeah, but i stupidly forgot to adjust the fps (i left it on 4 and wondered why my pc was so crap). And the thing with reflections--it just looks better :P

nah they will be all from the same game cd, just distributed in a different manner.

some are iso's and some are zipped but they all require a no-cd patch

They won't be different, they're probably all the same. The two I've seen both have the same files (50x2.88, 1x1.2).

The fact is, they're all bloody incredible.
