out when?

sorry people this sounds like a real dum question but when is gp4 acualy being coming out. i thought it was the 13th of june as that what it says on the official ads but ive also come across web sites saying the 20th please could someone settle this mater for me.

oh and one more thing i can run gp3 2000 ok but do you think this system is alright for gp4.also what rez do you think will be best.

Depends. GP3 2000 is very proccessor dependant, and if gp4 is the same, you're screwed. BUT if it is GPU dependant (as it should be) then you're probably screwed. RAM is ok though.

Try it anyway, you can always return it!
If it doesnt work, youre not alone in not being able to play it; I can't either.

what the best you can buy for £70?

well, u can get a GF3 ti 200 for £92 at novatech, or for that amount a GF2 ti, i would spend the extra on ti 200

cheers.what card do you have and what graphic settings do you have gp3 on an also whats your occupency(if you know what i mean.)

My sys specs are.....

P3 866 Mhz
384 Mb ram
ATI Radeon 32mb DDR

i run gp3 on full settings on 1024 x 768 res. With no other cars i get 60% cpu occuopency, with all the cars i get 100%.

I'd go for the GF2 Ti 64mb, cos GF4 may be too powerful, eg your processor would be the bottleneck, and slow it all down.

I've heard the GF2 mx has problems with gp3, so maybe avoid that. Also, its a little oudated now.

Actually a low-end GeForce 4 will probably be the perfect complement for you processor. The GeForce 4 MX utilises much enhanced GeForce 2 technology and while being a powerful and superb value graphics card, is not as powerful as the GeForce 3 series, so the processor probably wouldn't bottleneck your system. You can fetch a GF 4 MX for under £70 for sure...

what the hell is all this about gp3 2000 processor dependency

my cpu is:
450mhz
128mhz
intel 810 chipset graphics


and i run full settings and my processor occupancy is always 88% with all settings

but the good news is im getting a new cpu in 10 days!!!!!!!!!

At what resolution?

Well I've got a 350 mmx, and it runs terribly...I have to restart the comp every half hour I play gp3 2000 for, otherwise it runs too slowly, its definately dependant on proccessor power ("proccessor occupancy"!!)
