2003 rules

Is it at all possible to update Gp4 to use the latest 2003 qualifying rules using the various editors avalible? I am new to Gp4 and i am not sure which editors will do the correct job.

u need to get GPx patch from:

[www.xs4all.nl]

and then in the GPxSet section put the qualifying laps to 3 and that will do it.

Don't you have to do somethig else? Something about consecutive cars or something? Otherwise you get several cars on the track at the same time. You should not see another car, if you drive 2003 rules. How's it done?

well gpx patch can also edit how many cars are allowed ontrack at a time. so theoretically you can but realistically not every car wld be able to get a lap in, in 60 mins. i have 3 laps for every car + only 3 cars allowed out on track at a time and it works pretty well

Using X-aser Lanfire case with 5 fans inside cathodelights etc included aswell :P

go to your gp4 program folder, gpxpdata and gpxset.ini

And set fuel to 20 laps or more. Thats more realistic. And it works on gp4 and gp3 also.

Then use qualification lenght editor to set qualifying time to 120 minutes. Otherwise not all cars get enough time to qualify.

Also if its raining. Not all cars have enough time to qualify. Same is on spa.

Thats why i set consecutive cars to 2. OK its less realistic but the onliest way to give all cars a chance to qualify.
