am i right in saying this

if you have a .gp4 file, say for example the helmet shape (car_helmet_00.gp4). now the 2 numbers at the end 00 if you have change that to 03 does it make the graphic sharper in the game, i.e. 00 is the lowest possible detail level. there are already files in the cars.wad which are called car_helmet_01.gp4, car_helmet_02.gp4, car_helmet_03.gp4 so what happens to those?

there the different LOD's for the same shape and LOD's make for smoother PO Changing numbers won't change anything, probably cause c2desktop. For full helmet detail all the time, copy .00 and use the copy for the other numbers.
