I doubt that. Williams and Senna were feeling the pressure and were not up to the speed of the Benetton. Hence the first three race results, well, the first two anyway.

but how then Hill lost the championship only for 1 point at the end of the year? Senna would have beaten Benetton, and Williams from the 3rd race was up to the Benneton´s speed (senna was 1st when he crashed )
