Favorite F1 Season

1998,1999,2000,2003,2005 and 2007

1999 was the first season I loved..

But I also liked 2003/2005 and then 2007 with Kimi finally winning.

2002 and 2008 I guess. 2002 for the giant dominance of the season by Ferrari. 2008 for Lewis and the last few laps of high tension.

First post on these forums after lurking for a while.

It would be hard to single out a particular year as favourite but I think 1991 would be a good bet. 1989 to 1996 was my favourite era simply for the fantastic looking cars and amazing V10s and V12s. I'd never miss a race back then and absolutley loved F1. Then they ruined the cars, the old school drivers left one by one, F1 moved to ITV and they got rid of Murray Walker. It just wasn't the same to me after that.

This year is the first season I've watched every race in a long time. It's been a lot less predictable than recent years and at least they've brought slicks back. I'm actually starting to like the look of the 2009 cars too.

Can I add 2009 as my favourite?

I only started to really watch at the end of 2004. I think 2005 tops it for me, purely because of Raikkonen's performances that year, including of course Suzuka. 2006 was good also...the battle between Alonso and Schumacher was great. And of course, 2007 we had Kimi winning the championship, although the races were kinda boring. 2008 wasn't so good IMO...just didn't really care for the two guys at the top. And this year I'm finding it really hard to enjoy.
