Apparently, Pedro de la Rosa was also testing a new front wing some time today.

The rear wing is likely a dummy to emulate the specs of a new one they might put on at a later date - they had a quite similar trick last winter with a rear wing where the black part on top of it was above the actual height of the endplates, which would be the limit under GP weekend conditions AFAIR.

The good new is ferrari do not look far ahead of the feild as people were saying.

By looking at things we could be in for a very open year.

RBR seem to be ahead of Renault as well.

actually reports says that Ferrari were/is about 0,5-0,6 seconds ahead of McLaren over a long run today at Barcelona :)

Ah yes, but it's also worth appreciating that the fastest lap during winter testing at Barcelona was still set by Vettel in what's essentially last years STR.

As ever not too much can be assumed from the test laptimes.

seeing as mclaren were testing aero parts and not doing simualtion work no comparision can be made to the ferrari long runs.

This just add more reasons for me to rate Hulkenberg as a crap material for F1..
That guy almost killed Bruno Senna in a Macau race last year with a dumb move.

So because Hulkenberg shares a chassis, he is crap...?
Can't comment on that move of him at Macau as I can't find any footage of it, but I wouldn't be surprised if you were making things seem worse than they are.
So I pretty much agree with Byron.

No, because he was very far behind Nakajima with the same chassis...

"No, because he was very far behind Nakajima with the same chassis..."

The track was still wet in the morning and dry in the afternoon when Nakajima took over.

Also Nakajima has been driving F1 cars for over a year and ths is only Hulkenburgs 3rd or 4th test.

Fair enough, i didnt knew that they drove in different weather conditions, but still, Hulkenbergs results in other test sessions werent that good.

I would like to see you driving that same car in any conditions..

Kimi, so, Massa Fernando Sebastian is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message?

I've noticed that he's been fairly slow too, but to be fair he's still a rookie. In a short time I reckon he will be up there with the other drivers.

Who knows what he's doing though? For all we know his entire testing career so far could be dedicated to testing Bridgestone wet tyres in a variety of conditions. We've no idea what his programs are.

Regarding the initial comments, it just sounds like someone's just raw because he took his favourite driver out. Nothing like a good grudge.

he didnt took him out, he did a homicide attempt at him, luckily he just escaped with some small injuries in one of his hands.

but indeed, who knows wtf is he doing for Williams in his testing duties? but he is driving damn slow, lets be honest... If he is just doing wet weather tests, who said that hes a good wet weather driver?

Strange. I've not seen a non-Brazilian say that. To be honest though, I've not seen anyone other than you say that.

Most other (read: all that I've read) accounts are that it was caused by neither of them backing down.
