The double floor on the '92 Ferrari and the Walrus nose on the '04 FW26 Williams were also interesting concepts. Neither worked that well.

Mike, I wouldn't say the walrus nose was innovative. It just looked (very) different. The idea was the same as twin-keel.

Yes of course it was not innovative but it was an interesting (and ugly!) concept based on the twin keel idea.

We might as well discuss it. I just can't see that doing anything but understeer. It set some awesome times, but I can't work out how. You could say "the front tyres are awesome", but it used front tyres at the rear, 4 times, so that doesn't work. I can't even blame the turbo era (as they still used the DFV) that such an unbalanced chassis, in theory, could give an overall advantage on the track.
