Might be a good precaution :) Better safe than sorry especially if he's suffering the effects of some mild PCS.

I think his ankles are probably the reason, looking at the pictures of his crash recently i can't believe he didn't break a single bone in that wreck.

Lewis in US Press conference:

"...But definitely coming into the team, he's (Alonso) the two-time world champion and he's not really been challenged -- well, I think he has some challenges in the past but not really had probably someone as close as me and as good a friend off the track probably..."

Poor Trulli, I thought they (Alonso and Trulli) had a very good relationship (probably much better than Alonso-Hamilton) and Trulli was definitely very fast, in 2004 he gave Alonso a bad time...Trulli and Fisichella are not world champions but they have 10 year careers and during some time they were considered future WC, I think they deserve more respect but well...and the two titles from Alonso were won with work and suffering so I think that was a challenge...not very respectful again from his part.

Lewis not well informed of 2004 then is.

Trulli was the quicker till he was told he was no longer needed. And still Alonso made stupid mistakes that season.

"Trulli was slowing down like he wanted to have a picnic" LOL

Well he passed the physical just fine apparently so i dont think he's broken anything. He's been walking around for a while too.

The article does mention the risk of a second concussion if he has a crash. If he were to suffer another so soon after the concussion he suffered in Canada, it could seriously threaten his career.

wow this guys really think he's something after a win!!!, ihope he's not a jaques Villeneuve!, remember when he came to f-1?, probably not

anyway, about Kubica i think is more a psycological thing, if he passed all the test, he was fit to race, but it'll be better for him to be psycologycal prepared for Magny, it's been less than 7 days, even if he wants to race he might be thinking about that accident.., but now that he knows he passed all the test and that it's going to be more than 2 weeks of his crash when he gets to Magny he'll feel psycologically 100%,... i hope you guys understand what i mean, i know it wasn't his descicion, it was the doctors, but maybe they think it was better for him, to be psycologically better for next race
