AFAIK, Gethin's win in THAT Italian GP was his only podium

Button? Or was he 3rd in brazil?

I guess the question was more like has anyone won a single race and not made another podium appearance at all, i.e. before or after. But even otherwise, Button was third in Brazil indeed...

But I think another one is Giancarlo Baghetti, who won the 1961 French GP (his first ever F1 race) and finished in the points only two more times in 1962, 4th and 5th.

Yeah, was thinking of him. Wasn't often a full-time driver though.

Johnny Herbert wouldn't have been far off. He won 2, but couldn't have been on the podium more than 4 or 5 times more, if that. Can't remember much of 95 tbh... need to watch it again, as there were some awesome races.

Don't forget his win in '99 for Stewart

Another one who wasn't far off, I think, has to be Panis - winning Monaco in 1996, but he could only add few more podiums to it...

EDIT: Just looked it up, he scored 5 podiums altogether, apart from his win those were three second places (Germany, 94; Australia, 95; Spain, 97) and a third (Brazil, 97).

Button had several podiums in 2004.

yeah 8 or 9, IIRC, starting with Malaysia.

then Trulli gave Toyota their first podium at Malaysia '05. and Alonso got his 1st pole at Malaysia '03, and Kimi got his 1st win at Malaysia '03, while Alonso got his 1st McLaren win at Malaysia '07. lots of "firsts" happen at Malaysia for some reason.

Don't forget Malaysia 2000 - first random wig wearing on an F1 podium:

Due to the voting system in Germany, Governments are always made up of coalitions of different parties. At the last election, an almost unprecidented result saw the CDU/CSU (rough equivilant of the Conservatives) go into Government with the SPD (rough equivilant of Labour)

Yeah but if Button in 2006 wouldn't have been on the podium, that win would be his last podium so far.
