who do you think will win the first race ??

Ferrari arent up there yet i think it'll be a while before they are, mclaren who knows but i think it'll take until europe until we see the cars true potential but they way he's driving alonso probly from the two honda's

Swerving back on track, did you see Valencia times today? I find it interesting that the Williams race drivers are out testing while the other teams are using the test crews. Does it mean they need the miles? Does it mean they are satisfied with the whole test programme and just want the race lads as comfortable as possible? Is it that FW is an old meanie and won't rest them before the first race? I have my own suspicions that might be related to pit-stop strategy.

Or maybe it was just their turn.

dunno some people clame the ferrari cars were never that good but the tyres made up for the shortful just as the honda engine used to for mclaren.

Then thats y when the tyres were not good ferrari were off the pace. Dunno i can sort of see where people are coming from but who knows

But Kimi should still be one to watch out for, even if the car is shite he will make something of it. Same goes with Micheal.

If either driver smells a hint of victory they will do everything possible to win.

And i feel this will be the year that alot of poeple finally accept JB as a number1 driver, or make up new excusses for him being fast, like 2004, yea the Mclaren was bad car etc...

Well the new tyre rule should benefit Bridgestone, so if Ferrari don't do somewhat better then last year, and they have Toyota and Williams to compare with, then we will know how good their car really is.

Hm yeah. Maybe if he gets beat by Rubens the Jenson fans will make up new excuses for him be slow, like 2001. yeah Benetton was a bad car etc...

thats the thing the new rules have not benefited ferrari at all. But it will benefit the driving style of ms who likes to push 100% from lap 1 till the end and this is something he could not do last year cause the tyres had to last a whole race. You think how many gps ms has won by fast in and out laps.

As reports say the bridgstones are going off after 17 laps the michelins are not. This will affect the quali runs as the michelin runners can use less tyres and have more new sets for the races, and have 1 stop less,

Anyway back to the topic i think honda will win the 1st race. The renault might be fast but they are still having a few probs and honda have tested at the venue so already know what tyres to use whilst the others are trying them and they can do less laps as a result.

Ive always said 2001 was a bad season for him because he wasnt focused, he did not care that he was doing so bad, he had an f1 season in his belt and the cash was coming in and so spent too much time with DC messing around, but DC did beat Mika
