Chrome McLaren out on track

The red doesn't look so bad now. It's grown on me. As for the chrome, it doesn't seem so reflective either, so overall, I like it even more than I did already, but then I'm like a magpie bird, liking shiney things...lol.

I am thinking if it is Chrome at all.

I find it even uglier now.

I liked it when it was launched, I like it now. Of course it's chrome, McLaren ahve spent a long time developing a chrome alloy that retained the shininess but without the glare. Possibly not he best thing to dedicate your time and budget to, but I think it looks good, so not a wasted effort.

whatever it is k´now, it'll change if it doesn't suit TV. on those pics its a bit hard to see some adverts, so once they test out on the telly they might need to change it.

i personally dont think its gonna last...its too dark on circuit, and thats what i suspected. as soon as you remove the bright studio lights and place some shade over the livery, its not gonna work. but we'll see...i'd prefer they just painted the thing silver. still, with all the supposed money having been invested in this chrome technology...mclaren will probably stick with it. hell, they're sticking with mercedes...lost cause me thinks.

I like it, looks much better on track than in the studio. Course McLaren will stick with Mercedes since Mercedes owns about 40% of the McLaren F1 operation.

yes i dont like it at all now the red is just not good.

It does look better on the new car, but the red just dont look right

I will be honest , the car now looks better then in the studio , even the red imho looks good

I don't understand that the sponsors accept this. The adverts are indeed hardly visible. But for the rest, it isn;t very ugly.

on that second , 5th and that 8th pic you see the mclaren with a wide nose , but that front wing is different then the mp4-20 and mp4-21 front wing , is that a modified mp4-21 or is it a modified mp4-20 ???

I think it's a modified MP4-20, the sidepods and rear wing are clearly from the MP4-20.

what is that stuff that they're 'enjoying'?

it looks better than on the 1st pictures, but the red is still so ugly on that car.

What's black, chrome and red and blows all over......

maybe they modified it but it looks silver/greyish to me more than anything now.
