In what ways?! I think I must be looking at a different 98 McLaren!

if u look at the 1997 mclaren u can see that the 1998 one followed the same lines

looked more like that than the 1996/97 williams

Not from here mate, same livery, complete different design. The only small similarity is the nose section.

yes thats what i mean lol, the lower nose idea was followed, but if u remove the head rest thing u will see what i mean. The 1998 car was an evo of the thinking behind the 1997 car not the williams

MP4-12

Mp4-13

I take it back, not even the nose is similar, the entire car is different.

good news for RBR. Ferrari engine in the back and now Newey in the bag. I feel they shouldve switched to Bridgestone though, but nevertheless i Hink they'll be close to best of the rest next year I think.

Newey goes there in February. The RBR02 will have already been laucnhed so its unlikely yourll see a huge jump straight away.

I dont't know why red bull bothered. they already have mark smith, so their aero department is pretty sorted. if i was newey i'd have gone to williams. he'd have made a real difference there.

A lot depends on when Adrian decided he was off to Red Bull. As is the way, this may have been signed and sealed, but not announced, months ago. And if that was the case. Then Im sure he would have visited RBR in secret and cast his eye over the aero team. He may even have made some "unofficial" comments over a glass of wine in that restaurant.

Its common knowledge that AN left Williams because they sacked Damon. I wouldnt be surprised to hear that Rons and his relations have become strained in recent years. Maybe as a direct result of David being released for JPM.

Off Topic slightly Adrians had some fantastic road cars in his time. A chipped up Sierra Cosworth and a Turbo'd Lotus Elise spring to mind.
