Yo Sup

Well i watched this IRCO race from Fontana on MotorsTV earlier today.

I have found the perfect sub for F1!!!!!!!!!

12 cars, all exactly the same (except colours) with 12 of the best drivers from US leagues in them. Drivers from CART, IRL, Winston Cup, NASCAR Bush and other series.

50 laps of the 2 mile Fontana oval was not enough!! They are closed wheel cars that resemble GT cars. 170mph was reached and the slip streaming was amazing!! Labontae (sp?) got second but deserved the win after being stuck on the outside line for 4 laps (!!!!!!) trying to pass the leader. At one point it was 4 a breast into turn 1!! It was amazing racing.

Only problems

1) They only seem to take drivers from US series
2) Not many races
3) I think all the races are ovals

Otherwise, there is no cheating, moving over to let people pass etc, no team with car thats miles better. Since its taking drivers from different series this really is finding out who is the BEST! Theres no doubt after the races who was the best. It might not be the winner but you can see from the driving who is the best on the day

On this day it was Bobby Labontae, on other days it might be different

This series is amazing

That's not too bad. I am now of the opinion that oval racing is fantastic after seeing the ASCARs. These IROCs sound cool, but are they only on Sky?

aw crap. I've got NTL digital. Oh well they'll file for bankrupcy soon!

"Dad, since NTL went bust, can we get sky?"
"No! Bugger off."

That's how the conversation will go.

Much like my graphics card plea;

"Dad, can we get a new graphics card, its 3 years old"
"What the hell's wrong with it? It works fine for me! HAVE YOU BROKEN IT?"

etc
