After all the hype that race was boring except for Ralf closing of MS at the end

Bitty crap after all the build up.

Now we have exactly this situation:

What the F*CK does "provoking an avoidable accident" mean? Who has "provoked" the incident? Inmy book "provoking" is quite different from "causing" it. You can provoke an accident by some one forcing into a mistake, without even touching him physically - or by not letting someone pass and thus forcing him to get in using the crowbar. In this respect Michael Schumacher has provoked an accident.
The next question is: What does "avoidable" mean? Can you really avoid accidents in GP? Is it not rather the case that in battles between JPM and M$ accidents are most likely to occur if not bound to happen? So can it really be "avoidable" if two drivers battle for the championship?

As long as FIA does not bother to make CLEAR rules that cannot be bend or are subject to interpretation it will all remain what it curently is: a farce.

So who WAS the best driver today then?

MS started 2nd, and had Bridgestones, whilst JPM was 1st with Michelins, which was the much better tyre.

In my mind MS was the best today...which is why he won, I guess!

Teh reason the rules arent clear is so that if Ferrari break the rules they can get away with it with a little bit of twisting and if someone else breaks the rules then they can get in trouble

I wonder why the FIA gave Ferrari double ammount of tyres and didnt take them away until Williams pointed it out? Do you think they were gona take them back? Makes you wonder eh...........

Chris, we should have put bets on how many posts it would be before it was said or hinted at that Schumacher didn't deserve to win ;-)

No excuses this time round, a fantastic drive from Michael Schumacher with a tyre disadvantage and a car disadvantage - what a race it was towards the end, but Michael was good enough to make the difference and keep little bro. behind.

As for Montoya, as Tony Jardine says, he was clearly frustrated at his first corner mistake, and got too close to MS going into turn 3. Michael made one legal move across the track to defend, and Monty fractionally out-braked himself. A weird incident, it looked from the TV camera as though JPM had walloped him quite hard but it was only a brush. Too bad.

Jensen Button was again superb. He's just brilliant, what else can you say?

Michael made one legal move across the track to defend

Did you read this? this says a man who does racing himself, he ought to know! Yes, people, this is what I always say: If Schumacher does make moves they are always legal. If someone else does the same it is dangerous. Why is it? Because Michael Schumacher is God and who dares contradicting a God? Certainly not morons like Vader, Ellis, Morbid or LS. No, people, SChumacher is right because he IS Schumacher.

I noticed that, too. Strange indeed. Maybe the F 2002 has F&F missile launching facilities at the rear.
