..and the 2nd one as well.... if things are, as they look, vettel is far from having won the tittle................ and we all know how he loves cracking under pressure. in fact he won his tittle last year when he was in the underdog position.

P.S. this is not just an emotional comment because hamilton won the last race and ist 1st in both practices (in fact i am a schumi fan), but fact is, that alonso, hamilton ans webber are getting very much faster with each race :)

Well the problem is that Webber, Hamilton and Alonso will probably end up taking points off each other, rather than one of them making a serious threat to Vettel.

And that's only if Vettel is beaten by them every race, which is extremely unlikely.

Indeed. Barring an awful streak of bad luck this title is all over bar the shouting. But I said earlier in the season that I'm happy with a poor title battle if we get epic races, and for the most part, that's what we've had. It's a shame that Pirelli have improved their tyres though. It was great having a wet-like race every weekend.

you mean like in turkey, gav. Naah, ididnt like the turkish gp so much to be honestwith all those pit stops.2-3 stops per race is good in my view. it is betterto have more battles on the track, than cars struggling on the poor tyres/ worn tyres and being eaten by the rest

It's not the stops I miss, it's the drivers having to work with not just their car, but the tyres. If the tyres don't really degrade, then the fastest car is almost always guaranteed to win (which isn't a bad thing, but it's nice to mix it up from a spectator's point of view). The Nurburgring was a great fight up front, but that was more down to strategy and poor pit-stop timing or poor pit-stops - where the tyres themselves have been involved it was all down to overtaking and drivers taking huge chunks out of each other.

Thankfully, that seems to be the way it'll be this weekend.

Great battle for pole, awesome laps from both Lewis and Vettel, and great for Massa too, outqualifying Fernando here of all places!
Looks like there could be a good tactical battle in the race, although as said already, the work Pirelli have done on the tyres has spoiled the awesome degradation element to a large extent.

There was 'intermittent rain' in the GP2 sprint race, if this carries on it might shake things up.

The chance of showers are meant to recede as the day goes on, so the best you're likely to get is a green track.

Come on, this is Hungary. We've had what, 1 rain affected race in the past 25 years or something?
