i know its random but at the 08 chinese gp i never noticed that for some reason kimi didnt run the shark fin yet felipe did ? i dont remember that situation happening anywhere else since hungary (when they started using it)


any reason why felipe used it/why kimi didnt?

they did go wrong with the car updates with Kimi in the time of hockenheim at china they went back to the old parts that suited better for Kimi and he was happy and instantly faster than Massa that weekend.

I think Massa just preferred to have the sharkfin on his car; it certainly seemed to give him more confidence when he was driving it. His performances are telling - Hungary 2008, Valencia 2008, Singapore 2008 before the SC mix-up. I noticed that at the time too - whenever he had the sharkfin he seemed to go much better.

yes it was.

Yep, Kimi was quicker all that weekend, which was unusual for late 2008. It should be pointed out too that Shanghai has always been a track where Massa has struggled.
