I read it today at the shops, not a bad edition. We found out why Brundle doesnt attend Hungary, though he is next week (apparently the BBC was not happy at him wanting the time off). But I was wondering if anyone does have the issue, I never got the chance to read Allens article on Jenson. Would it be cheeky if I asked for someone to scan it for me please?

Oh sorry! I forgot to mention! Its because the Hungarian GP nicley fell in with the school holidays, and Brundle used the time to go off to his villa in Spain with his family. Quite supprised and shocked to hear BBC werent too keen on the idea and said no. Granted theres a 4 week gap between Hungary and Valencia but whats one race? They have a number of suitable replacements. Kinda reminds of when they asked Colin Edwards to drop his commentary work, and do only F1, basically do F1 and nothing or no F1 and do everything else. Kinda silly imo. Its like asking the guy to divorce the love of his life lol!

Ben Edwards.

I dont know where Colin came from ;)! But yeah didnt the BBC ask him commentate this year instead of that pillock Legard? And not refusing to drop his love of commentating motorsports he rightly denied ;-)!

Much as I think Martin is worth keeping. I think it's fairly dumb of him to expect it. He only has to attend 17 races over the year to get a fairly sizeable pay packet. And it's not like there isn't a summer break! Do you think that any other sports commentators miss an event?
