of course there are going to be rumours in this sort of environment; but i don't think any of them really have any substance at the moment at least

I think the rumours are a bit doom-laden. Both Red Bull and Toyota have publicly stated that they aren't going anywhere yet, and both issues press releases to that tune after Honda pulled out.

I seriously doubt Ferrari will pull out, especially as (like BMW) they consider their F1 division an essential part of the 'brand'.

RBR are in trouble - They have signed a new sponsor, Trust.

Last seen on teams such as Jordan, Minardi and iirc Spyker/Midland....

Bleurgh, what's that day-glo orange doing splattereed all over a Red Bull?!

I guess that with the credit crisis, though, sponsors are essential for a team to keep a reasonable budget.

according to f1-live the trust logo will only be on the helmets though ;)

williams however are losing another big sponsor - lenovo is apparently going to mclaren. supposedly they will pay the same amount at mclaren as they already are at williams, but may not even appear on the car!

however; petrobras was leaving williams to honda, so they may end up going back to williams now...

At the moment I think all teams will line up at Melbourne, even a bought out Honda.

The crisis rumours are typical knee jerk scare mongering at moment.

All the remaining manufactures have committed, Red Bull have gained sponsors and confirmed both teams. Force India have recently tied up with McLaren/Mercedes and Williams claim to be ready to field a 3rd car if needed.
