In that he wasn't swept away in the floods (with people riding on his back, and a mast stuck in his belly-button), and so had the opportunity to actually use it?

He's a racing driver... if he was any good, or cared in the slightest, he'd still be racing.

Might as well. Didn't think it was a particularly good myself. If tomorrows is any better I'll add that too though, just to complete it.

XivD, 704x480 (widescreen), 4:05, 31mb, etc.

I really didn't recognise it? Certainly nothing I can remember playing (though I've never played much of the ISI stuff). It just seemed very unrealistic when you ran off the road, and although this may have been setup dictated, very, very stable - no oversteer whatsoever.

Yep that's the impression i got of it too. For an F1 team simulator i wasn't that impressed. I reckon they put some aids on the car to help Blundel look less of a fool.

I don't know about anyone else, but I got the impression the graphics engine was ISI based, from the way the car looked in the external shots. Obviously it has been heavily modified though. Maybe one of the older F1 200x games?

was amusing to see the bmw pitlane park at silverstone use both rfactor and an entire 2007 f1 mod with liveries! i laughed when i saw a spyker fly over some kids cockpit, then refused to have my pic taken with the gridgirls there and asked if i cud take pics of the wheel rims for ttexture purposes! the guy took a pic of me taking a pic of the car, and 2 girls lookign aimlessly haha!

For anyone who wants the 2nd chapter, ITV have postponed it until the European GP. Not that it'll be worth the bandwidth, what with the great colossus trying to fit into the car and everything. Still, I'll post it if I record it.

yeah shamed they didn't show the feature, but i suppose that would have cut down the amount of time they'd have to bum Hamilton.

Dan, you refused gridgirls for wheelrims???!!!

Unless its running a very abdly made williams on a very badly made track in DX7 mode, thats not ISI based. Its not the gMotor1 or 2 engine, and isnt any silverstone I have seen before.

It did look exceptionally arcade like and rubbish, but tbh it was probably more there to let drivers learn circuits that they havent been to more than anything else. It wasnt really a simulator either. It was a cockpit with a big screen running a PC game. Some teams have much better simulators than those.
