Ferrari team principal Jean Todt claims there are no team orders at Ferrari, for now.
The Frenchman says he is unconcerned at the prospect of Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa taking points away from each other if world champion Fernando Alonso mounts a concerted title defence with McLaren.
"You know we are just starting the season," said Todt.
"Our goal is to try to be as much in front as possible.
"There is no number one and number two driver. We will see over the season how things move.
"At the moment we are completely happy to accept what happens, in whatever order, as long as our drivers are in front."
Raikkonen has a 100% record with Ferrari so far, and Todt reckons the Finn is a happier man for joining the Italian squad.
"He seems to be a bit more smiling with us, which you know is not our speciality," said Todt.
"But still, we are very happy with him. And he seems very happy with us.
"On Saturday I had dinner with him and Felipe and they were happy. It is just a good atmosphere and confirmed what everybody feels in the team."
Todt added that he was just as delighted with Massa's progress, after the Brazilian set the pace for much of Friday in Australia before running into gearbox problems through qualifying.
"He improved fantastically last year and he is really part of the team.
"The team loves him a lot and he is a very talented driver.
"We are very happy with Felipe."
