Whats so special about this? only becouse he came back when he was only a tenth behind? look at kimi silverstone 04, 4 tenths behind, then 2 tenths behind, then 1 tenth faster, thats more spectaculair if you ask me

no man,we mean the way he used the throttel,i am sure there were no frag of tenth left in that corner(last one).
to control the car that way,with all the throttel he was using,in the final corner,in your last quala lap,is near to impossible,look how safe Michael did it.
beside, Mika lost more time after he made the second sectore,going over the grass.

Haha, Schumacher playing it safe? He was way over the kerb in two corners... both pushed hard, Mika had the edge that day. Senna didn't get pole in every race for McLaren, you know?

Isnt this the race where he threw it away in the lead on the last corner?

no, that was in '99. he crashed out of Imola in the last chicane, and at Monza the same year he threw away the win at the 1st chicane.

oh right this is the year when he was leading in spain and retired on the last lap when his clutch blew. Also retired in Indy when his engine blew while in the lead i believe. Or im just making this all up i dont know ;)

no, that failure on the last lap at Barcelona was 2001 :)

i *think* 2000 was when his engine went at Indy, or it might have been 2001.

No he was chasing Schumacher at Indy and got close before blowing up. It was 2000 when his engine blew because he won that race, his final, in 2001.

it also helps when you've got great enthusiastic commentators to listen, play the video mute and it loses about 30% of the exicitment.

and imho i think kimi's pole at monza 2005 was better, carrying way more fuel than anyone and still putting it on pole :)

I'm fan of both Mika and Kimi ...and they both have done really awesome qualifying laps.Mika's Imola lap was great ...kimi did many great pole laps last year with more fuel onboard than anyone else (Monza,Monaco,Silverstone,Magny cours).

@IL Dottore
why do you say Kim hasnt won anything great yet ? I think many driver in F1 and outside of the F1 would say winning a Formula 1 GP is great thing and Kimi has done it 9 times .We can never compare drivers because thay dont have the same equipment .
