I went last year, if you land at Barcelona airport and head for the main central train station, you can get a local train that will drop you off at montmelo which is near the circuit.

The time from Barcelona station to montmelo is about 25-30 mins and then the walk from montmelo to the circuit is about 15mins and its up a bloody steep hill :o

Word of warning though, make sure you pick your leaving time right after the race, theres literally thousands upon thousand heading for the little tiny station that is Montmelo.

Its chaos, we left it about an hour after the race til we headed back to the train station and it was packed to the point of being scary

I took this photo as we were coming out of the circuit after waiting an hour for the crowds to disperse

Your best bet is to find one of the nice side of the road cafes in montmelo and have a few cool beers and catch the train about 6.30pm-ish

Apparently they had to give the tickets away more or less in spain up until 2004, ,hence the price hike now for a certain mr alonso

If you replace all the blue with red, you know what Hockenheim looks like. ;)
