minardi left michelin and went back to bridgestone.

But maybe they wanna go back as bridgestone dont give them the latest tyres and Paul said to much at the usa gp.

Plus if the tyres are better this will help them next year

competition i believe, from the timing involved it appeared that goodyear did a runner when bridgestone annouced their entry into F1

Goodyear had the sole supplier role and coyuld boast of so many goodyears wins etc, quite easy when theres no opposition to fight with :)

Pitpass said it's most likely to be Jordan, and it makes sense. Michelin fell out with Minardi after them not paying for the tyres. And what chance is there of Ferrari leaving Bridgestone?!

that's strange. A few days ago michelin said that they will supply tyres to less teams next year

Yeah they said they'd been approached by another team but had to turn them away.

They can't just get rid of a couple of teams tho can they? And how would they decide who to dump?

I think they can, it's just no renew it, or ask for a huge price.

But there is a rule that a tyre suplier should be prepared to suply at least 1/2 + 1 teams of the grid.

when there are two suppliers, a manufacturer has to be prepared to give 60% of the teams tyres.
