Ralf gets a touch of the Coulthard syndrome :)

Ralf Schumacher is convinced that he will be champion with new team Toyota.

Ralf admitted that he was tempted away from Williams by the possibility of emulating his big brother.

Michael joined Ferrari when they were at a low ebb in 1996 but has since helped transform them into arguably the most dominant team in F1 history.

Ralf is determined to do something similar with Toyota.

He told sportal.it: "In the space of three to five years, I am certain I will be champion. Our objective for next season is get onto the podium when we can, with the championship a long-term goal.

"My brother Michael had to wait for five years before he won his first title."

Toyota now have everything in place to get amongst the top teams. As well as Ralf, they have recruited Jarno Trulli. And next year

In an RTL interview Ralf just said that people should not expect too much during the first few years and that it might be a harder way to go than they (and himself) had thought in the beginning.

I wonder if the newspapers make up things or if Ralf is schizophrenic. Probably he is and he is, too. :p

sounds like the normal sensationalist media bullshit tbh, afterall DC *never* said it was going to be "his year" ever.... but such is the power of misquoting....

He always very much implys if not directly saying that its his turn to win the championship :P
