i hope not....thats bad news since Simtek really wasn't up to par....wonder where Nick Wirth is today?

Do you really believe that a team of McLarens magnitude would copy an idea from a rubbish team that never doen anything. The new MP4-18 has been designed from hours and hours of work in the wind tunnel and Adrian Newey's years of experience. Come on, get real

Course i was joking...lets all remember simteks totaly points scored...uh...wot points?

it was influenced by Leyton House, but it wasn't copied beacuse Newey also designed that car

The simtek car was not a bad car, just over weight and under developed.

The mclaren does look like the simtek nose have to admit but a bit thinner and not as low.

Maybe the old designs were the best .

i wounder how fast the 1989 mclaren would go with the current engines and tyres, would be very interesting do u not think

For a 1st year they done a respectable job.

Minardi have point in the bag and in their early seasons did better than they are doing now
