i'm with andrew on this, we need to keep the chassis team separate from the engine manufacturers who will eventually leave the sport once they win or struggle by not winning consistently

also looking at past championships....u can see that basically its been Ferrari, McLaren, & Williams who have won time and time again

sure Williams needs to get its house in order but if BMW does go it alone it will take them atleast 5 years to get where they are today with Williams

Absolutely not. You can see they don't respect F1 much, really unproffessional slagging off of williams in the press. Is that the kind of organisation F1 needs as a team? Mudslingers can stick to roadcars.

I think it would be good for F1 to have a team like BMW.

Definitely not. They're not doing too badly with Williams right now, having just won a GP, are they? It's good to have BMW in F1, but staying with Williams is the best idea.

the thing with the established team is that they are there for the duration ( budgets permitting during the current climate) and do so out of love of the sport.

manufactuers are there only for publicity of their product and have no real love of respect for the sport (apart from ferrari, but the love for the sport could be debatable)

most manufacters come in to F1 for the glamour and global awareness, like renault, bmw and jaguar

if they dont get the results they desire they'll soon pull the plug

leave the cars to the enthusiasts and the engines to manufacters

LS's Tip of the week
ESSENTIAL OILS aren't essential unless you're an engine, a gearbox or a twat
