Now that would be awful. Losing Spa is awful, but to lose Melbourne (one of the only good tracks on the calendar) would be even worse!

Melbourne (as a circuit) isn't that good anyway. Adelaide was by far a better track. At least you could overtake there.
As a city & 'place' for the race, it is great though.

Adelaide was a great circuit, but Melbourne is equally as good, I think. It really gives you the feeling that you're going somewhere, and has a great mix of fast and slow corners. One of the best tracks on the calender, IMHO!

Melbourne's a bit dull imo. Prefered Adelaide

Now "Mad Max" will get even maddr now with the tobacco farce!

I like Melbourne personally Adelaide was always hard to set up on gp2 if my memory serves me correctly!

I'm reading it as Australia no matter how hard I try and make it say Austria... :P

Melbourne has to much to lose if they dont hold a GP, hopefully this will make them think of something to resolve the matter.

yeah, all melbourne is, is a few short straights/curves seperated by chicanes, nothing compares it to adalade

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't any racetrack - a few short straights / curves separated by chicanes???

As for adelaide, I think they are both similar in terms of overtaking/excitement, it was equally difficult to overtake on both.

i had more fun driving around adelaide in gp2 than driving around melbourne in gp4.

although it is a very close thing.

adelaide is a bit more challenging when perfecting the car setup wot with its tight twisty sections and long straight.

whereas melbourne is basically an imola setup tweaked as both tracks are similar.

Where can you overtake at Melbourne(and I mean in real life, not in GPx or F12002)?

At Adelaide, you had the Brabham straight, with the Racetrack hairpin at the end of it - where plenty of overtaking moves took place.
