they had to be conservative with the tyres as had been said. it'll change for next year.

Lewis is on fire! he's shaping up to take Vettel out of the race, as a favour for his old mate Alonso ;)

Crofty has been talking %$@&.

Webber's KERS has failed again and he has retired.

I can dream! ;)

Some juicy action so far, promising opening. Hope Alonso can get these hard tyres switched on!

c'mon Lewis!!!! let's do it!

i think lewis needs to use all KERS on the straight to really make it, he's saving like 25%

he's in the rev limiter at the end of the straight though, even with more KERS on the straight, he wouldn't be any faster, he'd just reach his maximum speed earlier, if you get what i mean.

and he did it just as i posted! good lad!

great job by Lewis, shame he was robbed in Singapore and Abu Dhabi, he might have been in the title hunt still.

13 in it for Brazil!

Awesome race, awesome drive by Lewis. Great drive by Seb too for consistency, and by Alonso for damage limitation. And great to have all of them on the podium together.
And we go to Brazil with the Drivers' title undecided.
Woohoo!!

Decent circuit, bloody fantastic race, awesome stretons and FOUR world champions on the podium.

Brilliant racing through out the field and a duel at the front that could be remembered for years, F1 couldn't have asked for a better return to the states.

Seb is going to be chased on the last race for the championship against Alonso.
it's going to be tremendous pressure, very tense weekend and hopefully Ferrari can find some speed straight from Friday to increase the pressure.

it's a shame Lewis is leaving Mclaren to a less competitive team , he's driving better than i've ever seen him but seeing Michael's car this weekend, it just seems they're going to keep struggling, they couldn't handle the tyres at all.

i really love the track i know gav ranted a bit about T1, but honestly i haven't seen a Grand prix car struggle so much for grip out of a corner since the late 90's.

the moves of the day for me were Kimi on Hulkenberh on the outside, and Button on Kimi on the outside as well.

Lewis move was not as spectacular, but his work to make it happen was.

what's a streton?

Ant Davidson cleared up what Vettel was complaining about, and Horner mentioned it too. Vettel caught Karthikeyan in the fast S curves and got held up, which immediately allowed Lewis to catch him and be within 1 second, and then use DRS.
