Grosjean was slow on the start and he drove into Alonso, the gap was there for Schumi to go and he would've eventually been side by side, but clearly you can see Grosssjean snapping the steering to the left, Michael had nowhere to go, in fact you can see he actally lifts before the contact, Grossjean was as usual behaving a bit stupid imho.





there was the gap, he was carrying enough speed, MS just gave it a try but Grosjean moved a little too late, had it been Schumacher, another 5 grid drop penalty would've been applied.

It could be argued that Grosjean was the cause of all the trouble on the first lap. He got a terrible start, moved right into Alonso, swerved left into Schumacher, and all the subsequent confusion was caused by his spinning car. Abysmal.

Also, I'm inclined to feel for Schumacher a bit. His grid penalty might have been of his own doing, but on a weekend where he clearly had the pace to do something spectacular, through a combination of awkward circumstances he ended up scoring 0 points yet again. Hopefully he can have another strong weekend in Canada in a couple of weeks.
