Very much looking forward to this match- although the 2am kick off time here in Australia will make it very difficult to go to work tomorrow, especially if we get manage to get a result!

COME ON YOU AUSSIES!!!

Although, I DO want Brazil to win the group so they can play Italy in the second round and get knocked out pleasingly early :)

Italy aren't exactly the best team around but they're better than Brazil at the moment.

Australia deserve a point out of this at least, they've played brilliantly.

Well done Brazil- too good. Was fairly even throughout, but they had just a touch of class and genius that Australia lacked.

I hope Australia's earnt a bit of respect- we're not as bad as some might think!

Brazil not very impressive again, they were pretty lucky on a few occasions, Aussies put in a great effort & Kewell should have scored.
It's blatently obvious Ronaldo is in the side on reputation alone, in both matches Robinho has done more within 5 mins of coming on than Ronaldo did in the whole game, with Robinho they started to look pretty good at the end.

Nail on head. You might have given Ronaldo the benefit of the doubt for one game (everyone's allowed an off-day), but he just looks so lethargic. He doesn't believe in himself, let alone anyone else.

Anyway, /me waits on Gui complaining about the physical approach of the Aussies*

*though I will concede there was one awful challenge on Ronaldo that could easily have been a red.

Australia were nowhere near as brutal and dirty as they were against japan.

Well, I enjoyed that game :) So, SO close for Australia on SO many occasions! I would have loved to see them get a goal, that may well have given them the confidence they needed to go on and win.

But they didn't, and Brazil played well enough to get the 3 points. But I doubt that form will see them through tougher opposition. Great game to watch :) Australia are impressing me more with each match, and the 0-0 draw earlier today surely gives them the best chance in the group of finishing 2nd and qualifying regardless.

Does anyone want a 1.97m tall goalie? Or a midfielder who plays for Juventus? Or an experienced right wing back playing for Milan? No? Well, what if I put Zé Roberto in the equation? No? PLEASE!!! ;)

We lacked some movement from both Adriano and Ronaldo upfront to open up the Aussie defense, even though Ronaldo came back a few times he should have run to the sides, not back and forth. Same with Adriano. And Australia wasn't as dirty as against Japan but that play early on was a sure red. Luckily Ronaldo stayed in.

And was I the only one laughing with Fred's goal? My cousin's boyfriend didn't even know who that guy was as they showed him on the bench, and before the game his dad was interviewed, talk about luck ;). Ah, what a lovely way to score, tripping on the ball with your bad foot :p.

Also, I say keep Ronaldo in and he will scored twice against Japan. Have Adriano come back more and move lots more. Other than that, it was not that bad of a game, and I was so happy Parreira took Emerson out, there's a light in the end of the tunnel! Maybe next time Juninho Pernambucano will come in for him and we'll have a more attacking side.

That's it :p
