Who do you think is going to become MotoGP Champion next year???

Here are the 2008 riders:
1/Casey Stoner/Ducati Marlboro Team
3/Alex de Angelis/Honda Gresini
4/Andrea Dovizioso/JiR Team Scot (Honda)
5/Colin Edwards/Yamaha Tech 3
7/Chris Vermuelen/Rizla Suzuki MotoGP
13/Anthony West/Kawasaki Racing Team
14/Randy de Puniet/Honda LCR
21/John Hopkins/Kawasaki Racing Team
24/Toni Elias/Ducati Alice Team
26/Daniel Pedrosa/Honda Repsol Team
33/Marco Melandri/Ducati Marlboro Team
46/Valentino Rossi/Fiat Yamaha Team
48/Jorge Lorenzo/Fiat Yamaha Team
50/Sylvain Guintoli/Ducati Alice Team
52/James Toseland/Yamaha Tech 3
56/Shinya Nakano/Honda Gresini
65/Loris Capirossi/Rizla Suzuki MotoGP
69/Nicky Hayden/Honda Repsol Team
(there are two drivers to be confirmed...since the drivers are from Team Roberts, i think they are not necessary to the poll because nobody will vote for them ;))

#3, #4, #48, #52 are rookies

My vote goes to Casey Stoner. I think he will remain champion. WTH, with a woman like that beyond him, even I would be champion if I had a woman like his wife support me every day ;)

I predict a close battle for the title...the new riders are very good

Vote!!!!

Casey Stoner to edge Rossi at the last gp. Hopefully Toseland will be up there.

the guy is not even driving the main Yamaha and you want him to win? ;)
I'd love to say Rossi but I could only watch the beginning-mid part of last season to make my picks, I just read the results for the other races so if Ducati doesn't screw up then it's really hard to not have Stoner in 1st, but if Yamaha can give Rossi some decent power then it's back to the Doctor (H)

I don't see Ducati being beat but now that he's on the Ducati I hope Marco Melandri wins the title and hope Hayden gets back to the front too.

I think melandri will be strong if he can be a bit more consistant. i havent followed it that much, but my hairdresser says melandri is a bit to inconsistant to be a serious threat.

Melandri has some good rides, he surprised me a few times by being in the front group before!
And Hayden will only get back to the front if Honda can get his bike to suit him again

I'll be buying Hello magazine next month just to brush up on the latest Neil Pearson column, which apparently includes his 10 top tips on how to lose that last tricky bit of hair either side of the southern lips.

Hes gonna need more than consistancy, in the pre xmas tests he was no where and said he was uncomfortable on the bike. Hopefully they will sort it outthough, the lad deffinetly has the speed and talent to win it.

hayden and stoner are both hideously overated - though hayden more so.

I say that rossi will hopefully win and the crazy little tiny pedrosa should do well. I wonder what will happen to capirossi after he was rightly screwed over by ducati last year. Strange that they would do that since he was doing well for them the year before, but there you go.

I was impressed by sylvain guintoli this year - not only for having one of the best names (as does mokoto tomada), in fact they both did well on shitty dunlops.

It all depends as to whether michelin screw over most of the field again, and whether the ducati is again by far the best bike.

Hopefully toseland will do well to, he's good enough to at least.
