Hi Everyone!
Rod, my championship will be for 22 teams, but i still have to test it first, which i will only do after finishing all the cockpits.
Im aiming to test it during January.
Basically, these will be the guidelines for the championship:
22 teams with 3 cars each (plus test car)
Engine = same for everyone (which will allow me to pair 2 cars of different teams in one pit box)
Performance = Driver performance + Car performance
Driver performance = best in history + current (both based on Piramidex System) + Driver status (1st, 2nd or 3rd team driver)+ Health + Age
Car performance = default value (same for every team) + testing performance + mechanical wear (of engine and gearbox)
Each car will have 5 engines and 5 gearboxes, which can be changed on each qualifying or race, having in count their respective wear. This will be decided by each team manager before every session.
Calendar = 4 testing weekends + 17 race weekends
Testing = 3 testing sessions (test car + each other car of the team) - avg of team's driver best times versus avg of overall times will influence testing performance (and car performance) for the next 4 race weekends
Race = 3 qualifying sessions = 1 car per team in each session = "best" 22 cars will race on 100% race (race A), next 22 will race on 66% race (race B), worst 22 will race on 33% race (race C)
By racing in low level races, cars will have less mechanical wear and therefore will balance performances in the long term
Hope you will be interested in joining it has you will give inputs which will influence your teams or each race and test...if not it will by run anyway...i always wanted to be a Bernie!
