PERFORMANCE SHOOT OUT, DAY 1

Welcome to the first Day of the Performance shoot out for the 2008 Season of the GP3 World Series!

Ryan Gault is the first one who drives out of the pit.

He is also the first one, who set the time.

The German V.T.R. Driver Marcus Bongardt can't beat Ryan's Time.

Antonis Baltzo can beat Ryan's Time!

Paiva can set the 2nd fastest time.

But here comes the German Driver Hans-Helmut Wiencke in his SRS Racing Car and beat the fastest time.

After the 5 minutes, the first 11 drivers set a time. All 11 have after the next group again a chance to get Position 1.

Robert Scandura (V.T.R.) is the first one of the second group, who want now beat Wiencke's Time.

But Roberto miss the time with a huge gap. Only position 12th for him at the moment.

Vilela (One), Angel (Atlantica) and Vooght (F1N, picture) miss Wiencke's Time also.

Now it is time for the first group again to beat the flying german again.

Lucas Jeha in his Asgard set a good time in the first sector.

But he lose it in the second sector!

Position 5 for the brazilian driver.

Wiencke can't beat his own time.

And there comes Ryan Gault! He beat Wiencke!!!

The other german, Marcus Bongardt can only set a time in the middle-field.

Vilela must have problems with his One Racer. He is very far away from the fastest time.

Dean Kittleson is the last one in this group. He can drive the 4th best time.

Now it will be interesting! The second group becomes her last chance.

Vooght is only 0.047 seconds behind Gault. 2nd Place for him...

Scandura must also have problems with the car. Only the 14th position for him.

Parker (Asgard), Silva (McLaren), Buster (One) and Finney (F1N, see photo) can't archive a better time.

The last one in this group, Ken Vingerhoets, is also not able to beat Ryan's Time.

Here are the results:

Hi guys I'm back.

it's been quite a while since i last checked what is going on in here.
hope my team hasn't got into a receivership. LOL

for now DJ Rotty please use blank cockpit and blank pitcrew,
as for Andrew Jewitt I told him to paint his helmet and send
it to you. I he don't do that use blank for now in a few
weeks I'll come up with cockpits and teamcrew, helmet etc...

thank you for your understanding I'm kinda short with free time.

BTW for trackmaps you can use google earth photos, I found Jerez recently
and it looks wery nice.

You don't must drive in this league! Everything is simulated by me!
Well... James Buster was fairly good... I hope we'll be better on next test!!!
Congratulations, Rotty!

[File]
Version=213

I tested already a simulation for qualifying and I think, it works and shows the result of day 1 and 2 of this shoot-out very good.

Now Day 3 and 4 will be the days to drive out a good race performance file.

Also I have a good idea for the race weekends to build a bit more drill into the series. For every point, which a team made, the bhp of the team will be ground-off some bhp. A example: A Team save 18 points on a weekend. Then follow calculation will be made: 700 - 18 = 682. In the next race, the team starts then with 682. After they race the next weekend with 682, they will become back the 700. But, only when they don't score any point. When they score a point, the points will be again subtract from the 700. For example, team score 5 points, they must race then in the follow weekend with 695bhp.

I hope you understand it, when not, this is a little table:

Weekend #1 = 700bhp
> team score at weekend #1 18 points, then 700 - 18 = 682.

Weekend #2 = 682bhp.
> when team score no points, they become back the 700 for weekend #3. But when they score for example 5 points, then 700 - 5 = 695 bhp.

Weekend #3 = 695bhp

and so one and on...

Now it's your turn to say something about that...
