Interested in 24 Heures of Le Mans track??

I could follow what suggested in this forum about the realization of a (necessarily shorted) version of the legendary 24H LeMans track.
The circuit MUST be shortened because of the limits of the game in total length (track length + pitlane length = max 7.882 km.). So the usable version of Le Mans track is nearly the 53,5% of the real track (13.650 km.).
I have a beta-beta-beta-beta version functioning, with some variations in the shape but with the groove and feel of the real original long circuit.
I wonder if eliminate one of the two chicanes in Hunaudieres straight, so the cars can reach 350 km of speed.
Give me your impressions and suggestion about this possible realization and I will make the track at my best.
ciao a tutti from Monza.

That would be great, Marino, we still have the Nordschleife for GP3 in this
way by Major Tom and another classic track, LeMans, would be super geil.

Happy racing from Germany !!!

No, I can't convert from GP2 to GP3 because I have not the appropriate tool.
Anyway, I am a "track maker" and I want to realize MY OWN circuit.

I brought this up a few months ago. Dig around for my thread, and see whether you like my track suggestion. I didn't actually make it cause my track making amounts to zero. ;)

Well, I am sure most of us would like to drive along the Hunaudieres flat out (so that means no chicanes)

But you can follow Roberto Scandura's example of making different layouts of the same circuit by using the same track jams files.

The version I would love to see is the 1932-1967 or the 1968-1971 layouts as the track are very fast.

If you want footage, you could PM me as I got about 15GB of Le Mans footage spanning back from 1923 to this year's race.

The Le Mans track is probably the most wanted track in the last months.

So, good luck with your project Marino!

Yes, MCervini, we'd love to race on the Le Mans track. Please specify how we can help you: photos, testing...
When I see the other thread WOSEC's 24 hr Online Le Mans Race, I am actually ready to manage the 'GP3 Le Mans 24 Hours' let's say in June 2007, the same weekend than the real race !
Who would be interested ?

I suggest you make some large run-offs and also use plenty of black flags at the chicanes.

It should be great if you do the old Imola with the Speedway. Do you think it's possible?

Hello friends,
I am at 60% in my work of 24h of Le Mans circuit.
So, be patient and for the new year it will be ready.
I have some screenshots of the new track but I don't know how show them to you all in this forum (the copy and paste here does't work and I don't know how attach here the .jpg files)

Buon Natale e Buon 2007 a tutti

Hey Marino,

Tanks for opdating us all. We look forward to receive your wonderful version of the Le Mans 24h track. Is it the 2006 layout you are creating or maybe an older version?

Kind regards

You could try uploading them to imageshack or photobucket. If you don't know how to do it then I am happy to help you out by emailing to me the screenshots to: *email address removed* and I can upload them for you. :)

Well friends,
I intend to realize two version of 24h Le mans circuit.
One with the 2006 layout and one with the same layout but without the 2 chicanes, so you could reach 400 km of speed.

Ciao a tutti.
