Software Users

U might remember me from the old forum. Im the guy that keeps complaining about things for us unfortunate people forced to use software graphics!
I complain about the cars, the editing tools , the carsets, the tracks.
Today its acomplaint about tracks
Is anybody out there able to download Ricardo Lampert's 2002 Sepang "Software" track?
I'm having problems. I click on the link and each time I download a different size file! sometimes its 3.05mb or its 3.04 or its 709kb or even 409b!
Suspiciously the "Hardware" download works PERFECTLY.
Is there a huge conspiracy agains us software graphics users?

Yes, there is. If you want I can explain (especially for you) what kind of a conspiracy it is ...

Hey Traction, what graphics card do you have? Because I used to play in software mode, but then oneday I took my computer in to be repaired and when I got it home I could select my Matrox G200 (8mb!) card to play hardware.

I don't think this card is on the list as working in HW mode but hey, it does. All im saying is even with a not so good gfx card you can play in HW mode!

Is anybody going to answer my question about the sepang download?

Nothing to do with software graphics but i'm having another problem.
After I installed the record editor some of the text is missing on GrandPrix3-Season 2000.
When i go to the tracks and look at the records all I see are the names and times.
"Qualifying","Race","Qualifying","100% Race Distance", "Winner" are missing.
I uninstalled the editor but that didnt work.
I re-installed the game and the text "Qualifying","Race","Qualifying","100% Race Distance", "Winner" appear again. Then I installed the record editor and the headings disappeared again.

Did this happen to anybody else?

Another conspiracy? Or just a bug in the Record Editor? The truth is somewhere out there (whistle theme)

I did go to the software section but the Sepang download is only a link to the download which I am having problems with.
Am I the only person with the record editor problem?

I had no problems d/l the software track. (which I did regardless of the fact that I use HW and 3.120 MB on 56k take hours, so it was very friendly of me trying to d/l a file I cannot use just to tell you that I did)

All I can say is: try again. Sorry

After you downloaded it did it unzip? Any time I download the file it never unzips.
