How do I calibrate a controller

Hello there, (b4 I go ne further I am a newbie and the question below shows)

Like what the subject shows: How do I calibrate my SideWinder Force Feedback Wheel (USB). I loaded the Microsoft Wheel V1_13.con from the Advanced section.

But I'm having problems calibrating the wheel properly. Can someone with the same wheel tell me step by step of what to do exactly?

I know its easy to say do what the screen tells you, but I don't know what X is and is Controller A both the wheel and the pedals, or is the Controller B the pedals?

Please help me.
