nascar 2002 setups

Sorry this int gp3 but can anyone help me down load setups into nascar 2002
I have copied them into the correct file path but they never appear in the garage.I have copied them/moved them, tried various file paths but they never appear in the game.They are defintely there as I can see them in the circuit set up files.Strangely one authors setups does save into the Garage but no others.
Any thoughts.
