But check out the Medion company, its only really in Germany at the moment but is moving to the UK at the moment. Im sure Vader will have heard of the company. You should be able to get that same system (with RD instead of SD RAM) for £650 soon.

Do you really mean RD RAM, or DDR? DDR is becoming more popular these days, and it's standard with most high-end systems.

My system is a Medion which I picked up on one of those special offers that Aldi do from time to time. I've had it about a year and had no problems with the system whatsoever. My own personal cock-ups, well that's another matter. My only whine is that in comparisson to the German Medion site, the UK version doesn't offer nearly as much support in the way of updated drivers etc. Build quality of base unit is solid and pretty stylish, and not too much messing about is required to get inside. £250? Do It!
