GP3 with GPxPatch problems, please help!

Hello guys!

I'm having some sort of weird problem, that i can't resolve..

I installed GP3 from original cd (not GP3 2000), than i tried it, it worked
perfectly, than i patched it with 2002 carset from gp3.gamers.nl and
it worked, but when i installed GPxPatch 2.20 there are some sort of
errors.. i started GP3 with gpx patch, the game worked cool, but when
watching replays i got kicked out into the win XP again... and sometimes
it kicked me out while playing, and when i try again there's this error:

" Starting log
GPxPatch version: 2.20
GPx version detected: decrypted 1.13
Verbosity level is 0
OS version info: Windows 98 build 2222
Total physical memory: 511 MB (free: 376 MB)
Executing gp3.exe
Error changing access to memory: (487) Attempt to access invalid address.

Error writing process memory: (487) Attempt to access invalid address.

*** error injecting code: (87) The parameter is incorrect. "

and than when i press the "start gpx" button the window opens with
something like "an error occured, want to view the log?"

i tried with older GPx patches but it's the same.. especially if i have
two copys of the game on the HDD drive.. (i have 2 copys - 1st with 2002 season,
2nd with 1997 season)

i have Athlon XP 1700, GeForce III Ti500, 512 MB ram (not edo),
40gb WD HDD + 60gb Maxtor HDD.. and i hope it's not wrong that
i'm running it in WinXP PRO, although i have dual system (W98 + XP)

i don't know what is it.. is it something wrong with computer? overheating?
i have zalman cooler inside..

coz i have similar problems with F1 2001 when watchin replays (sometimes
even the damn thing reboots my computer) and same with Rally Champ. Xtreme..
always when watching replays..

Can somebody help me?

Thank you!

There's an option under the graphics settings where you can fiddle with how long you want the replay length to be. Try changing that around to something shorter.

long for about 1 hour.. and it goes the same for other games.. hell, i'm gonna burn this crappy comp :(

Have you got the most recent drivers for your video card?

You might wanna post this at the SDI (creators of GpxPatch) forum. Rene Smith and the hang-arounds are usually very helpful.

The GPxPatch forum is currently down. Keep checking back at [box.balpol.tudelft.nl] every few days.

I will check it out every day, thank you :)
I also post a message to "sdi" and he don't know a s... :)
it's gotta be a bigger problem than GPxPatch :\

I'll try to install the game in W98SE but i'm afraid it'll run slowish..
