Re installed here we go again

Here we go again,
brand spanking new GP 3, not the add on the original thing.

I havent even installed the patch v 1.13.

But I want the generic upgrades dont I.

What do I do next, I believe I need the Decrypt patch to put in GP3.exe.

I know where to get it but how do I get it into GP3.exe.

Should I download the official patch first then the Decrypt, or just the decrypt.

I need the decrypt for the GP3 Editor, which is a must have.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Step by step would be nice.

What I have previously done is

Install GP3.

Download patch v1.13.

Download decrypt patch.

then ?????

running decrypt after unzipping I get an error message no .DLL File BINKW32.DLL.

What the hell is that.

I put it down to me not doing something right, that is why I am begging, nay praying for your help.

Running Windows ME. DirectX 8.1

ahh ha. That file is a bugger and I dunno why you need it, but its on your hard drive. Just search for it and you'll find it, or I'll send you it.

just copy and paste it into your GP3 directory. Voila!

Hi again,

loaded the v1.13 patch everything ok.

Downloaded the decrypted gp3.exe ok.(for the mods)

When I put the decrypted .exe into the original .exe I get error message

Error in DPLAYERX.Dll GP3 will now close. Any help please.

Sounds like DirectX trouble. What version are you running? If you're not sure, download the most recent version from www.microsoft.com .

Hi there -- another computer and the same old stuff again. I have the bink file in my gp3 directory and it still can't find it. Any clues?

can you send me the file, it is in the gp3 directory but will not work.
