Please help - CD broken !!!

My Gp3 2000 cd got broken (@!#$), and I don't even have a backup of it (double @!#$).

I just downloaded the GP3-113-nocd patch, does anyone know whether it works with GP3 2000, as well ?

Is there anything else I can do meanwhile , apart of buying a new copy, waiting for Gp4 ?
