Gp3 TCP/IP play over the internet, HELP

Hi,

I wanted to ask if anyone know how to play Gp3 (Gp3 Season 2000) over internet? I mean is it possible and do i need to have some extra software or smth? Because i tried to play with my friend and we couldn't make connection, although i can get reply from him when i ping his comp, and vice versa....All settings are default, and everything should be ok, but when i start sesion, he can't join because he can't see me there. And i tried same thing with other friends and we didn't succeed.

Are there any special requirements for Internet play? Is there any special port used or some other things that could be the reason for this problem?

P.S. We have DSL connection via Network Card

you can play, but you need gpxpatch and identical versions of the game.

plus a fast internet connection i.e broadband

yeah like LS says..... go to the download section of this site and get the gpx patch and start the game from the patch and then try to connect.. then it will work..
