help neede

hello.

my english is not the best, but i try to explain my problem.

there are two possibilitys for to play the gp3 game: the software 3d mode and the graphic card mode.
the software mode is running fine.
if i want to play the game in the graphic card mode, everything is running very slow.
i tried to set every screen mode but nothing made it run faster.

this is my computer:

ms win98 se
amd cpu 1,4Ghz
256 mb ram
hercules 3D Prophet 4500 (64MB)
thrustmaster force feedback wheel
sb live soundcard.

i can play other 3D games with this graphic card without any probs.

can someone help me?

make sure your video card settings are not running the game with full screen anti aliasing, this slows the game right down

i think that gfx card is a kyro II, am i right? and i think they have problems with GP3

i tried to change the anti alias settings, but still the same problem.

and you´re right - it´s a kyro II. do you know anything about their problems (and maybe a solution?)?

The Kyro II does not work properly with GP3 and there is no fix.

It is to do with the way the Kyro generates the image .

If you want the ins and outs do a search in the Archiv (!) as the full answer is in there somewhere and I can't be arsed to type it again

mein problem kannst du ja dem thread entnehmen. habe auch in weiteren foren und faq und... geschaut, aber noch keine lösung gefunden.

habe aber mehrmals gelesen, dass die hercules karte so schlecht nicht sein soll und ein verkauf daher die ungünstigere alternative.

I have a tip for you. You might want to try and look in the utilities section.

There is a little program that can emulate hardware support in gp3 for graphic cards that only work in software mode. I have not tried it, so there are no garanties, but I think it is worth a try.

Look for "Hardware Mode Emulatation", in the "Misc" section of the downloads.
