Ok,
What I really need is a screenshot + jam of any car that has transparency working properly on your pc.

Then I'll know what colours appear transparent on your pc.

Thanks

@ Natazone + Play

a couple of Qs
1.Have you tried the latest cars from my site?
[members.lycos.co.uk]

2.What tool do you use to put the bmp files into the jams?
do you use a jam editor?

The jams I was sent had a different colour over the transparency than the cars on my site!

For transparency I use Red:0 Green:0 Blue:0
In the jams I received these had been replaced by Red:8 Green:8 Blue:8

This happens in some editors that automatically try and remove transparent colours.

For an editor I reccomend a Jam Editor by Marc Aarts and when you use it make sure to turn off the option to fix transparency in the settings

If you want,try these jams.
[members.lycos.co.uk]

If the use these jams dont edit or open+save them in case it changes the colour.
If these dont appear transparent then theres no hope of fixing it!

2SCHWOCH81 & TRACTION: we need to use Jam EDITOR (not Jam Tool 2000) - and transparency will work nice!

glad you found the solution.
I use Jam Tool 1.30 and it works fine(as long as you turn off the transparency tool).

no, I kwon how to fix this problem in JAM TOOL 2000. I have version 2.0 (05.10.2001) - you need to disable in options menu "Black trancparency problem - Always apply fix when saving". That's all, happy racing!!

ok

1. run Jam Tool 2000
2. Edit => Options => Black transparency problem => disable option "Always apply fix when saving"
3. open any jam (I use filenames fer01.jam, fer02.jam, wil03.jam... in my carset, for example)
4. Edit => Import canvas <choose the texture you want to import in the game>
5. click save

that's all! what version of Gp3 do you have? gp3 1.13 or gp3-2000?
