Hi, guys. I have a problem, editing track on Track Editor.

I put tarmac at the place of grass in some parts of Lake Joutjarvi track. I want to put two different tarmac textures, blue and white. Well, I put blue tarmac using IDs 1229 and 1230, and, on track, shows road texture (and, on the game, tarmac is perfect). So, I decided to use IDs 163 and 164 to create white tarmac (like Belini Barcelona, or Scandura Kyzyl Kum).

But, when I play the game, white tarmac area stays like grass or sand. I returned to TE, to tried to correct, but the ID description shows that respectible ID is "grass". How can I make to fine that another ID (different os 1229 and 1230) can be tarmac, too??

Thanks a lot!

PS: I told with Paul, and he said me that is necessary editing ID texture using a HEX editor. I don't have idea how to use this... ;)

Hi Rodrigo,

I just put in the blue tarmac on trackpart t10 instead of the normal tarmac and it works fine.

Hi rodrigo, i thought you didn't see the blue or white tarmac, but you're talking about the feeling.
Sorry , don't know how to do that.

Hi Rod,

I have just tested Kyzil Kum, the tarmac ids 33,1229,1230 give a feeling like tarmac, when driving on it,
all other tarmac jams just look like tarmac, but when driving on it, the behaviour of the car is like driving on grass (tested with 2k).

I have found a different solution working with more than 4 tarmacs.

Just split one Jam into a few different section, making only one section visible in the track by dealing with resolution and vertical shift of the texture mapping command
